The film made a good start at the box office

“Lenin” begins its theatrical journey with encouraging box office numbers. According to Saknielke, the film’s first-day box office in India is estimated to be Rs 590 crore.The series is drawn from 2,028 performances across the country. Total collections in India amounted to Rs 67.3 crore, while total net collections in India were Rs 5.9 crore.The film also performed well overseas and grossed Rs 3 crore. Lenin ended its first day with a global collection of Rs 973 crore.

A rural action drama with a strong cast

“Lenin” is hailed as an action film set in the countryside. Akhil Akkineni stars in the lead and Bhagyashri Borse plays the female lead.Murali Kishor Abburu has written and directed the film and Thaman S has composed the music.The ETimes review reads: “Returning after three years, Akhil Akkineni slips into his first full-fledged village role with ease. He downplays the role for much of the film before delivering his best performance in the emotionally charged climax. Baggishree Bhols is convincing as the free-spirited Bharati, while the supporting cast lends believability to the story. Shivaji, despite his strong on-screen performance, feels a bit underused.
