According to Deccan Chronicle, Aamir and Gauri were traveling with their son. Aamir shares Azad with ex-wife Kiran Rao and Gauri’s son Quinn will also be traveling with them. In addition to fulfilling his work commitments, the actor reportedly used the trip as a post-wedding getaway to spend time with the boys and for Amell to spend some quality time with Quinn.On July 5, Aamir and Gauri held an intimate registration ceremony at actor Bandra’s residence. Less than a week after their marriage, Aamir came to Melbourne. The private wedding was attended only by a few close friends, family and their children.

After the holidays, Aamir is expected to attend the 2026 Melbourne Indian Film Festival and was nominated for the Best Actor for his performance in “Sitaare Zameen Par”. The festival recently announced the nominations and Aamir is in the running for the Best Actor (Male) award along with Ahaan Pandey, Boorman Bhargav Das, Dulquer Salmaan, Mammootty, Ranveer Singh, Rishabh Shetty and Sanjay Mishra.The Best Performance (Female) category includes Aneet Padda, Kalyani Priyadarshan, Kirti Kulhari, Neena Gupta, Rajshri Deshpande, Rani Mukerji, Rituparna Sengupta and Yami Gautam Dhar.
