While the agency has not announced a specific date, officials said the assessment process is being completed on a priority basis to ensure there are no unnecessary delays in students receiving their results. The NEET UG re-examination was conducted on June 21. The exam scheduled to be held on May 3 was canceled due to leakage of question papers. More than 2 million candidates took the canceled exams.
NTA says academic session will not be postponed
According to a senior NTA official, the agency is on “war preparation” to complete the outcome process. Officials also assured candidates that the delay caused by the re-examination will not affect the commencement of the MBBS academic course.Generally, NEET results are announced around 45 days after the exam. However, since the re-examination was organized just 37 days after the exam was cancelled, the agency is expected to release the results earlier than the usual timetable.Before announcing the results, NTA will publish the final answers on the official website of NEET. The results will be prepared entirely based on this final answer.The provisional answers were released in the last week of June and candidates have until June 28 to raise questions. According to the agency, aspirants submitted nearly 10,000 objections.Officials said each challenge is being carefully reviewed along with supporting documentation before final answers are prepared.
