Nagarjuna says film should be ready at least two weeks before release
Speaking at the event, Nagarjuna admitted that he was part of the problem and stressed that change should start with everyone in the industry. “I asked the technicians, the director and the music composer. If we hand over the film to the post-production team at least two weeks before release, they can keep improving it till the end. This is not to blame anyone. I say the same about myself because I worked for Lenin till the last moment,” he said, according to Hindustan Times.He added that compared to the practice of international films, “‘Odyssey’ announced its release date a year in advance. Why couldn’t we do that? Even though we announced the release date, why did it end up being postponed?” Nagarjuna revealed that “Lenin” was originally scheduled to be released on June 26, but had to be postponed because the post-production work was not completed on time.
