Before venturing into the horror realm, he will be seen in director Tinu Desai’s Sanchi.As Mid-Day notes, there are reports that the actor is eager to take on a project that offers a new challenge. “Ahaan’s next move is to try out different genres. After launching his career with ‘Tadap’, he wants to avoid repeating himself and consciously choose films that will allow him to explore new characters and worlds. ‘Winter’ will mark his first horror film,” a source revealed.According to reports, although Ahaan’s casting has been sealed, the team is still looking for the female lead. Reports suggest that producers are interested in casting an established actress rather than bringing in a newcomer. If the project goes as planned, Vikram Bhatt is expected to start shooting around November.Preparations for the film are expected to begin soon, with Vikram Bhatt and Anand Pandit reportedly planning to shoot on location in Scotland. Apart from international locations, a large portion of the horror drama is also expected to be shot in Shimla, adding to the eerie atmosphere of the story.
