Town & Country reports that among the photos taken in Portugal and the UK, one photo shows Prince Harry and Prince Archie holding large bouquets of flowers on the grounds of the Spencer family’s ancestral estate, with Princess Lilibet trailing behind them. People noted that Princess Diana’s grave is located on an island in the middle of the estate’s lake, suggesting the bouquets were brought to pay respects to her grave.

This is the second time Harry has brought Meghan to Althorp during his visit to the UK. In September 2022, he took her to the estate, where she was welcomed by Princess Diana’s siblings Charles, Sarah and Jane and visited their mother’s resting place. The momentous moment inspired reflections in Harry’s 2023 memoir, Backup .

He continued: “We hesitated and hugged, and then I went ahead. I placed flowers on the grave. Meg gave me a moment and I spoke to my mother in my head, telling her I missed her and asking for guidance and clarification. Feeling that Meg might need a moment too, I walked around the hedge and scanned the pond. When I returned, Meg was kneeling, eyes closed, palms on the stone. “As he left the tomb, Harry remembered asking Meghan what she had prayed for. “Clarity, she said. And guidance.”

Harry maintains close ties to the Spencer family and Diana’s legacy

Harry has maintained a close relationship with the Spencer family over the years. The family have remained in touch, with Diana’s sisters Lady Jane and Lady Sarah McCorquodale reportedly attending Princess Lilibet’s christening in 2023.During their recent visit to the UK, Harry and Meghan brought Archie and Lilibet to meet King Charles at his private country home, Highgrove.
