Ryan Gosling seems ready to join the superhero realm! According to recent reports, the actor has confirmed that he will be joining the Marvel Cinematic Universe as Ghost Rider. According to People magazine, the 45-year-old Oscar nominee will be the next Ghost Rider. Kevin Feige, one of the studio’s top executives, confirmed the news on stage, while Gosling, who was in attendance at the event, shared his excitement for the opportunity.“As you know, this is a role I’ve wanted to play for a long time,” he said. Also in attendance was Deadpool and The Wolverine filmmaker Sean Levy, who will direct a new standalone Marvel movie that will also feature Gosling’s Ghost Rider. Talking about the upcoming project, Levy shared, “I feel the strongest flashback vibes here because I was here two years ago when we screened Deadpool vs. Wolverine. I’ll never forget that night because I was introduced to the greatest fandom. Gosling is the absolute best. I say that with the utmost respect.
