Kiran Abavaram and Sri Guri Priya‘s ‘Chennai Love Story’ continues its theatrical journey with an improved repertoire on its first Saturday.According to Sacnilk, the film’s second-day net revenue is estimated at Rs 550 crore. This is an 11.1% increase from the Rs 495 crore raised on the opening day.
Global collection value crosses 150 million rupees
“Chennai Love Story” has earned a net revenue of Rs 10.45 crore in India. Two days after its release, the film’s box office collection in India has now reached Rs 1,202 crore.The romantic drama collected Rs 120 crore at the international box office on its second day. This takes its overseas box office total to Rs 380 crore. So far, the film’s global box office revenue has reached 15.82 crore rupees.
Telugu theaters see improved occupancy
The Telugu version reported encouraging occupancy rates on Saturday. The overall occupancy rate is 57.92%.Night performances had the highest occupancy rate at 59.69%. Evening performances accounted for 51.46%, and afternoon performances accounted for 51.15%. The occupancy rate for the morning show was 38.00%.
Andhra Pradesh and Telangana lead the way
Andhra Pradesh and Telangana contributed a gross amount of Rs 550 crore. Karnataka added Rs 70 lakh while the rest of India contributed Rs 10 lakh. Tamil Nadu raised Rs 2 lakh and Kerala added Rs 1 lakh. Together, these markets helped the film collect Rs 633 crore on its second day in India.
