The superhero movie, which is expected to set a new box office record in India, is reportedly seeing high advance bookings across the country, making it one of the most anticipated Hollywood movies of 2026.With three days to go until its release, the film has reportedly raked in an estimated Rs 25 crore from advance bookings on its opening day alone, says a report in Bollywood Hungama. According to preliminary estimates, the film has sold about 260,000 tickets in India’s three major national theater chains and is expected to exceed 400,000 tickets before its release.
“Spider-Man: New Day” premiere pre-sale
The superhero spectacle has exceeded industry expectations, with early bookings heralding a historic opening. Trade estimates suggest that the film’s final opening-day pre-sales may touch Rs 35 crore. This will take it to the Rs 50-crore mark on opening day.According to Saknilk, the film’s opening box office is expected to be Rs 50-60 crore. If it succeeds, it could become a serious contender for Avengers: Endgame, which is expected to open at an estimated Rs 65 crore in India.
“Spider-Man: A Brand New Day” Ticket Price
Advance bookings for the film have remained strong despite the fact that ticket prices for the movie are around Rs 300 and have increased significantly in some premium formats. In some places, prices have even breached the four-digit mark. Although higher than usual, the ticket price of the film will be lower than that of Durandhar: Vengeance.
‘Spider-Man: New Day’ debuts at $500 million
The popularity of the Avengers: Doomsday trailer has also reportedly helped boost global ticket sales. Currently, the film is expected to have a domestic debut of more than $212 million to $255 million and a global debut of approximately $550 million before it is released on July 31, 2026.
