Spider-Man: A New Day has received a UA 13+ rating from the Central Board of Film Certification (CBFC) and the film is gearing up for release in India. According to the CBFC certificate issued on July 23, the officially approved length of the film is 144 minutes and 52 seconds, which is 2 hours, 24 minutes and 52 seconds.

According to the certification documents, the English 3D version comes with English subtitles and went through a series of revisions before being licensed. The CBFC requested the inclusion of a statutory prohibition disclaimer, muting of sound at three different points in the film and removal of obscene language from the audio and subtitles. In addition, two kissing scenes around minutes 44 and 57 were ordered to be deleted.

Overall, the visual cuts add up to just eight seconds, while the silent portions of dialogue keep the overall runtime from impacting. Taking these cuts into account, the final running time of the film came to 144 minutes and 52 seconds. The film has been awarded a UA 13+ rating, allowing children under 13 to watch the film if accompanied by a parent.
