Veteran Telugu actor Pavala Syamala passed away at the age of 75 in the early hours of Tuesday.She has been undergoing treatment at the Osmania General Hospital in recent days after battling age-related health complications, Cinema Express reported. The actor reportedly suffered a severe cardiac arrest.

Pavala Syamala was born Nethi Syamala in Amaravathi, Guntur district of Andhra Pradesh, and entered the performing arts world through theater before turning to films.She made her acting debut with “Babai Abbai” and gradually established herself as a reliable supporting actor. Over the years, she has appeared in several popular Telugu movies in different genres.Some of her famous films include Challenge, Srivariki Premalekha, Babai Abbai, Mogudu Pellalu, Ida Prapancham, Swarnakamalam, Babu Bangaram, Guntur Talkies, Shourya, Nenu Local and Mathu Vadalara.

Away from the limelight, Parvala Shyamala faced several personal and financial challenges. She lost her mother as a child and later her husband shortly after the birth of her daughter. In recent years, the actor has struggled financially while dealing with health issues. Earlier this year, Hindustan Times reported that she was refused treatment by a private hospital because she could not afford the medical expenses. She was later discovered by locals who called the police. She was subsequently transferred to RK Foundation for immediate assistance.Following reports about her condition, several members of the Telugu film industry offered financial support for her treatment.According to reports, producer Dil Raju, who is also the chairman of Film Development Corporation, arranged for medical assistance after learning about her condition.
