Talking about the film’s promotional push at San Diego Comic-Con, Malhotra confirmed to India Summit, “We just announced shortly before the panel that Sony Pictures Entertainment will be releasing Ramayana globally. That obviously means the trailer will follow. We showed the trailer at the panel and I think we’ll have it out soon. So stay tuned. It could be any day.”“

The trailer of Ramayana was screened at SDCC and received an overwhelming response from the international audience. The trailer gives fans their first look at Ranbir Kapoor as Lord Rama, Sai Pallavi as Sita, Yash as Ravana, Ravi Dubey, Rakul Preet Singh, Arun Govil and several others in the cast.
