The children at Children’s Mercy Hospital of Kansas City created something special and unique for the newlyweds to keep. According to People magazine, a popular brand donated a white wedding dress so that the children there could decorate it however they wanted as a special wedding gift for Swift.A spokesperson for the brand that donated the dress told the outlet: “We have long admired children’s charities and have been looking for a meaningful way to give back to our community. When the excitement surrounding Taylor Swift’s wedding combined with her continued generosity to hospitals, it felt like the perfect opportunity to bring these two things together.” They further revealed that they felt this was a unique and one-of-a-kind gift for the singer that children could be a part of.The statement continued: “We donated a wedding dress and invited the children to transform it into a one-of-a-kind wedding gift for Taylor. They filled the dress with heartfelt messages, drawings, signatures and best wishes, while making friendship bracelets and tiaras to celebrate someone they deeply admire.”Children’s Mercy also shared a scene on its Instagram account of children creating artwork and writing messages on donated wedding dresses. This stunning dress features a shoulderless sweetheart neckline, bodice and front buttons. The skirt is fluffy and has a ball gown-like design. The statement added, “The dress will now be carefully packaged and shipped to Taylor, and we hope that when she sees it, she feels the love and gratitude that goes into every message.“The hospital also released a statement to the media about the fun event. “Watching the smiles on our patients’ faces when they see their beautiful wedding dresses is a very special moment,” they said, adding further, “Being in hospital can be difficult and isolating for many of our patients, so having the opportunity to focus on building a joyful connection with Taylor was a truly meaningful experience for everyone involved.”“Prior to this, Swift was spotted in the hospital as early as December 2024. At the time, she interacted with patients there. She also met with their families. Swift and Kelce reportedly donated an undisclosed amount to the hospital ahead of their July 3 wedding at Madison Square Garden.
