IIT Madras Artificial Intelligence Workshop trains participants on climate modeling and energy solutions

New Delhi: The AI4NetZero team at EnERG Lab, IIT Madras, will organize a three-day practical workshop from August 7 to 9, 2026, titled “Artificial Intelligence in Action: Climate and Energy System Applications”. The project will focus on the application of artificial intelligence (AI), machine learning (ML) and data science in climate research, energy systems and renewable energy technologies.this workshop For students, researchers and industry professionals who want to learn about the practical applications of artificial intelligence in addressing challenges related to the energy transition and climate solutions.Seminar exploring the application of artificial intelligence in energy systemsDuring the three-day course, participants will learn about data-driven decision-making methods and their role in modern energy systems. The conference will cover the application of artificial intelligence in renewable energy forecasting, power system optimization, predictive maintenance and climate modeling.Participants will receive hands-on training through Google Colab tutorials, using real datasets and reusable notebooks. A hands-on approach will help attendees understand how to apply artificial intelligence tools to analyze energy data and develop technology-based solutions.
