During the conversation, Shane explained that he stopped watching ghost movies years ago because they left him unsettled long after the credits rolled.He said, “I don’t watch ghost films anymore. The only ghost films I watched were when I was younger. After ‘Manichitrathazhu’, the only one I watched was ‘Aakashaganga’. Watching horror movies has an effect on me. But I have no problem playing them. “The actor made it clear that starring in horror films doesn’t bother him, but he’d rather avoid sitting down to watch them.

Shine also explained why he had never seen Dies Irae, despite being involved in the project.“I haven’t seen ‘Dies Irae’ yet,” he said. “Because if I did, I’d have to experience it for myself.”The actor further revealed that his contribution to the film was different from a traditional acting role.“On ‘Dies Irae,’ they took a picture of me. Then they made a mold of my body. I’ve never been to a movie set. I didn’t shoot anything at all other than pictures and body molds.”

Even though the film received a positive response from the audience, Shane said he told director Rahul Sadasivan that he had no intention of watching the film.He recalls: “When I heard that the film was being well received, I told Rahul that I would not come see it. I don’t watch ghost movies anymore. “According to the actor, his decision had nothing to do with the movie itself and everything to do with the impact the horror story had on him personally.While Shane admits that horror movies fascinate him, he says they also deeply unsettle him, especially when he’s alone.He explained: “I was very interested in watching them. I had experienced this feeling before after watching films such as The Evil Dead. Because when I am alone, I have to bear everything by myself. I imagine the ghost appearing, I get scared, and I keep running—alone. “He concluded by saying, “I can’t even ask people to watch it with me. No one will believe me. People might think, ‘You’re your age, do you still believe in ghosts?'” or ask me if I’m afraid of the dark.
