While fans debated Hanuman’s absence, several celebrities reacted enthusiastically to the trailer. Bhumi Pednekar was the first to respond, posting the trailer on her Instagram Stories and writing: “This is awesome. Really looking forward to watching this. Ramayana is going to be a global spectacle.”Actor Naveen Polishetty, who has worked with director Nitesh Tiwari in ‘Chhichhore’, also praised the filmmaker, commenting, “Epic work. Ramayana and Sunny Deol’s next film plans announced

Sunny Deol’s next project is “Batwara 1947” directed by Rajkumar Santoshi, which is expected to be released in theaters on August 14, 2026.“Ramayana” is directed by Nitesh Tiwari and stars Ranbir Kapoor, Yash, Sai Pallavi, Sunny Deol, Ravi Dubey and others Rakul Preet Singh, Vivek Oberoiand others who played key roles. The epic film is planned to be divided into two parts, the first part will be released during Diwali 2026 and the second part is planned to be released during Diwali 2027.
