The character is described as handsome, honest, and loyal, and fans often discuss his personal life and hope he finds romantic fulfillment.Although Atwater had been in a serious relationship with him before, it wasn’t until Season 13 Episode 5 that he reconnected with Officer Tasha Fox, his past platonic friend who later became a romantic interest. However, the potential love connection was immediately challenged when Tasha revealed that night that she would be moving to Miami in a week to look for a new job. She left before Atwater woke up the next morning, leaving an orange as a nod to her new home in the Sunshine State and an open invitation for Atwater to join her.
