Diljit Dosanjh starrer “Satluj” is trending on piracy platforms just hours after it was pulled from streaming platform ZEE5 India.The biographical drama based on the life of human rights activist Jaswant Singh Khalra has been pulled from Indian OTT stores “until further notice” just hours after its release, sparking outrage among fans. Shortly after the streaming platform officially announced it was removing the film from its website, fans took to social media to share that pirated versions of the film were available online for illegal downloading and streaming.

Several users took to their social media handles to share screenshots of the movie, which is currently available in various HD formats on various piracy websites. Some even actively share links to pirated videos to encourage fans to watch the videos.

Before the film was taken down, Dilji was asked in a live chat with fans if there was a chance his film would be removed after its streaming release. The actor shrugged it off and said, “Huntension nai, sab ne karlayi download” before adding, “Maintension free baitha”.The actor even insisted that he had no qualms about the film potentially being leaked on piracy websites. “Today is Saturday. I feel it may be deleted by Monday. But don’t worry, you download it,” Diljit said in a video chat with fans.
‘Satluj’ removed from OTT platforms
Announcing the removal of the film from the streaming site, ZEE5 said: “In view of the current developments, ‘Satluj’ will be unavailable in India until further notice. We remain committed to exploring all appropriate avenues through due process to bring the film back to our viewers at the earliest.”Satluj is directed by Honey Trehan and stars Arjun Rampal, Kanwaljit Singh, Suvinder Vicky and Geetika Vidya Ohlyan.
