JoSAA Consulting 2026 The results of the third round of allocation: The Joint Seat Allocation Authority (JoSAA) will announce the third round seat allocation results of the JoSAA Consultation 2026 at 5 pm today, July 6, 2026. Candidates who have registered for the counseling process can check their allotment status by logging into the official portal josaa.nic.in. After the results are announced, individual seat allotment letters will also be available for download.Candidates for seats allocated in this round must complete the online registration process within the specified time. This includes uploading the required documents, paying the seat acceptance fee and responding to any verification inquiries. The reporting window will remain open from July 6 to July 8, and fees must be completed by July 8. Candidates facing fee payment issues or document-related queries can reply before July 9.Online reporting schedule after third round of allocationsThe withdrawal and seat allocation process can be handled from July 7 to July 8. Candidates who answer questions related to withdrawal can do so before July 9. Admission will take place only after the uploaded documents are verified online and admission procedures are completed.After allotment, candidates must choose one of the three available options. The floating option allows a candidate to accept an allocated seat while retaining eligibility for higher priority in later rounds. The Freeze option confirms acceptance of the allocated seat without further participation in consultation. The slideshow option enables candidates to retain their allotted institution while pursuing their preferred course within the same institution in subsequent rounds.Verify required documentsCandidates allotted a seat must upload the required documents including JEE Main 2026 admit card, JEE Advanced 2026 admit card (if applicable), rank card, class 10 certificate, class 12 mark sheet, category certificate, passport size photograph and seat allotment letter. After successful online verification, admission will proceed with final reporting and fee payment at the allotted institution.Six rounds of admissions consultationJoSAA Counseling 2026 is conducted in six rounds for admission to participating institutions. These include IIT Bombay, IIT Delhi, IIT Madras, IIT Kanpur, IIT Kharagpur, IIT Roorkee, IIT Guwahati, IIT Hyderabad, IIT Varanasi, ISM Dhanbad and other IIT campuses.To check the third round allotment results, candidates should visit the official website, open the third round allotment link, log in using application number and password, view the results and download the allotment letter for future reference.
