As his sister officially tied the knot with her long-time partner Rohan Thakker, the ‘Ishaqzaade’ actor couldn’t help but get emotional on the auspicious occasion. The star recently took to his Instagram account to share a glimpse of the wedding festivities, which covered everything from the mehendi ceremony to chooda and kalera events and pheras. In another touching post, he shared a photo of himself posing with his sister at their wedding and looked back fondly on their memories.He began the post by writing, “To me you were always mine but now I have to let you go… Today you and Rohan started a new journey and it makes my heart, mind and soul so happy to see you smiling.” He went on to talk about their mother, Mona Shourie Kapoor, who passed away on March 25, 2012 after battling cancer.He also talked about his mother and wrote: “I watched you grow up and become this great woman. Every step represents our mother. You don’t have to worry, because she has been guarding you and blessing you…”Many of the photos he uploaded, along with emotional notes, showed the brother and sister playfully posing in their wedding attire. However, the second slide in the post got everyone excited as it showed Kapoor and Thakkar sitting at the wedding altar while Mona Shourie Kapoor’s photo and garland were placed beside them. The actor shared the black and white photo in the post. He ended the touching post with a brotherly nod to his sister and told her that no matter what, he would be there for her and that he would always be there to help her through tough times. He also wrote at the end of the post: “Love you, your Arjun Bhaiya.”
