“Circle of Love” is a documentary about the life of PK Mahanandia, who met Swedish tourist Lotta in 1975 while working on the streets of Delhi. His devotion to love led him to cycle 6,000 miles to Sweden to meet her. The first trailer of the documentary has been officially released.

The film chronicles Mahanandia’s journey as he moves to Delhi and begins painting portraits on the streets to earn money. directed by Orlando von EinsiedelThe film fictionalizes what happened nearly 50 years ago and features excerpts from interviews with PK Mahanandia himself, who still lives with his wife Lotta Von Schedvin.The trailer opens with a child saying: “There is a prophecy that my future wife will come from a far away place.” The trailer then shows Mahanandia’s days as a young struggling artist in Delhi, where he narrates how he started making money by painting portraits in 1975. This is how he met Lotta, and although they were close, she still had to travel to Sweden. He rode his bicycle 6,000 miles to find her.Actors Chirag Benedict Lobo and Meena Dyer play their younger versions in the documentary.

When and where to watch Love Cycle?
The film is expected to be released on August 28 at the Angelica Film Center in New York. The UK release date is set for September 18, with further international release dates to be announced in the coming days.
