Maruti Suzuki It’s about to launch the facelifted Brezza on July 24, and ahead of its launch, the compact SUV has been spotted undisguised in its entry-level LXI trim. The latest spy photos provide a first glimpse of what’s to come.At the front, the 2026 Brezza gets a redesigned grille with a more closed look, paired with a redesigned front bumper. Even though it’s the base version of the LXI, the bright color seems to come with projector lamps. Like most entry-level trims, it continues to use black steel wheels instead of alloy wheels.Although the interior of the LXI model has not been fully revealed, the updated Brezza is expected to receive several additions to the lineup. The top trims can get a larger 10.1-inch touchscreen infotainment system with wireless Android Auto and Apple CarPlay, a 360-degree camera, auto connectivity and HUD. Management is expected to remain unchanged and continue with integrated management.Under the hood, the stylish Brezza is expected to continue with the familiar 1.5-litre engine that produces 101 bhp and 137 Nm of torque. However, Maruti Suzuki may replace the existing five-speed gearbox with a six-speed manual transmission. In addition, the choice of models is also expected to get a 1.0-liter turbo-petrol engine, although the company has not officially confirmed the complete powertrain option.Maruti Suzuki has already started accepting bookings for the SUV against an amount of Rs 11,000. Once launched, the refreshed Brezza will continue to compete with rivals like the Hyundai Venue, Tata Nexon, Mahindra XUV 3XO and more.
