Actor Nandamuri Balakrishna recently suffered a minor injury on his leg while shooting for his upcoming film ‘NBK111’ in Kakinada, Andhra Pradesh.Nandamuri Kalyan Ram took to social media to wish Balakrishna a speedy recovery. The actor expressed his heartfelt gratitude and expressed confidence that his uncle would soon recover and return to work. He wrote: “Babai, I wish you a speedy recovery. I am sure you will be back playing soon.”
Balakrishna injured during action sequence
According to reports, Balakrishna was shooting for action scenes with Manchu Manoj at Kakinada Port when the incident took place.According to India Today, the actor was said to have injured his leg when he slipped while performing a stunt during filming.Filming was immediately stopped and the actor was taken to a nearby hospital for medical evaluation. Doctors performed scans and other tests and then ruled out an injury involving a minor muscle tear.The production team confirmed that Balakrishna will undergo minor surgery as recommended by doctors.
Manufacturer releases official health update
The production house released an official statement elucidating Balakrishna’s condition and clarifying his treatment.“While shooting for intense action scenes of #NBK111 in Kakinada, Nandamuri Balakrishna Garu suffered a minor muscle tear. As per the advice of the medical team, he will undergo a minor surgery to ensure a speedy and complete recovery,” the statement read.They added: “This is routine procedure and there is absolutely no reason for concern. We wish him a speedy recovery and look forward to welcoming him back to set soon.”
Jr NTR also shared a touching message
Soon after the injury reports came out, Jr NTR also expressed his wishes to Balakrishna through social media.Sharing a touching message, he wrote: “Barababai (uncle) get well soon. I wish you a speedy recovery and good health. Looking forward to seeing you back in full condition…”
