The Bihar Education Department has issued an application to the Bihar Public Service Commission (BPSC) for the recruitment of 32,388 teachers in the fourth phase of the Teacher Recruitment Examination (TRE 4). Bihar Chief Minister Samrat Choudhary announced the news in a social media post on July 29, 2026.The chief minister said the move marks a crucial step in the recruitment process of teachers at primary, lower, junior and senior secondary levels in the state. Recruitment will be conducted by the Bihar Public Service Commission after issuance of official notification.More than 32,000 teaching vacancies proposedThe application covers vacancies at four levels of school education. The highest number of proposed positions is in the high school class, followed by secondary school vacancies.
