The Uttar Pradesh Public Service Commission (UPPSC) has extended the deadline for preliminary examination for Uttar Pradesh Union State/Upper Subordinate Services. Candidates can now submit their applications until August 3, 2026. The revised schedule provides another opportunity to civil services aspirants to submit their applications for one of the most competitive recruitment exams in Uttar Pradesh. The registration process was scheduled to end on July 27, while the application for correction facility will be valid until August 3. Following the extension, submission of online applications and payment of exam fees can now be completed until August 3, while the correction window has also been extended to August 10.Candidates who are yet to complete their application can register through the UPSC official portal after providing the required personal, educational and other relevant details and paying the prescribed application fee.The committee clarified that the purpose of the extension is to ensure that qualified candidates who missed the earlier deadline are not deprived of the opportunity to participate in the recruitment process.

Candidates must pay the prescribed examination fees according to category when completing the online registration process. The application fee for candidates belonging to general, OBC and EWS categories is Rs 125, for SC, ST and veteran applicants Rs 65 and for persons with disabilities (PwD) Rs 25.
