Hema Malini talks about accepting Padmasambhava as Dharma

While talking to HT City, the actress got emotional and recalled how it felt to walk up to the stage and receive the Padma Bhushan in her husband’s name. She shared that the whole experience made her very emotional. Still, she’s grateful for everything.She shared, “It was an exciting and thrilling moment for me. His seven decades of work being recognized. The most important moment was that I was able to walk on stage and accept it. When I walked towards Rashtrapati ji to accept it, I could feel him behind me, asking me to step forward and say ‘go and collect it’.” She also recalled her time with her husband and shared that the ‘Chupke Chupke’ actor always wanted all his family members to be happy together, no matter what.She shared, “He would say ‘I love my family’, hamesha United rehne ko Bolte the” and further added, “He loved all his children and his grandchildren in that house, my house. He enjoyed his life and lived it to the fullest. He achieved things that no normal person could get and became what he wanted from the very beginning. She revealed that there were plans to publish a book about her to celebrate the occasion and Dharmendra was one of the very few people who knew about it.
