Alpha continues its theatrical run and remains stable at the domestic box office while also inching closer to the global Rs 75-crore milestone.According to early box office estimates from sacnilk, YRF spy universe action thriller starring Alia Bhatt and Sharvari in the lead role, netted an estimated Rs 285 crore in India on Wednesday. The film opened 7,321 times in the country and collected approximately Rs 336 crore at the box office.As per its latest earnings, ‘Alpha’s’ India net revenue is expected to be Rs 449.5 crore, while its total India revenue currently stands at Rs 53.59 crore.The film also continues to perform steadily in international markets. Preliminary estimates put the film’s overseas gross on Day 6 at Rs 1.5 billion, taking its overseas total to Rs 2,130 crore. Currently, the film’s global box office revenue is estimated to have reached 748.9 million rupees and is about to cross the 750 million rupee mark.The film started its journey at the box office with a collection of Rs 925 crore and subsequently posted healthy growth in its opening weekend. The film’s net earnings on Saturday were estimated at Rs 1,150 crore and on Sunday it was Rs 132.5 crore.Like most theatrical releases, the spy thriller experienced an expected weekday slowdown but still posted solid results. After netting Rs 385 crore on Monday, the film inched up to Rs 42.5 crore on Tuesday and earned Rs 285 crore on Wednesday, helped by discounts on ticket prices at several theater chains.The film now hopes to use the upcoming weekend to build on its success and easily cross the Rs 100-crore milestone at the global box office.The film is set in the ever-expanding YRF spy universe and stars bobby del, Anil Kapoor and Hrithik Roshan Play a key role.
