In a touching post on his personal blog, the 83-year-old actor wrote: “…in the hospital’s operating theater and intensive care unit, under the care of skilled doctors and medical staff.”
Talking about the challenges of post-hospital recovery, he further shared: “..discharge..and going home..This homecoming period is the most difficult phase..physically, mentally and practically… You are a respected champion and one day you will suffer defeat… This is the most difficult phase of your life…”Sharing his reflections further, he wrote: “…some people are brave…some people surrender…those who work hard and are brave are always the champions…those who don’t work hard and are brave, reconcile and live, existing in the glory of the past…a choice that everyone makes individually…neither is wrong…wish you happiness…(sic)”

But the work continues.”The post caught the attention of fans, who took to the comments section to wish him good health. “Get well soon Amit ji,” one fan said.
