The first trailer for Dune: Part III has been released online, giving fans a glimpse of the director Denis VilleneuveAn epic conclusion to a sci-fi saga.The trailer, which premiered during the IMAX Fan Event, previews a darker and politically charged chapter in the “Dune” saga that will unfold on IMAX screens this December.

The film is set 17 years after Dune: Part 2 and follows the rise of Paul Atreides as Emperor of the Empire. Once guided by his prophetic visions, Paul found that his vision was disappearing. “The future has a way of talking to me,” Paul said, before adding, “I don’t see what’s going to happen in the future.”The video also revisits Paul’s now-tensiony relationship with Charney, who is played by Charney. Zendaya. After her political marriage to Princess Irulan, played by Florence Pugh, Chani’s relationship with the emperor appears to be strained and becoming more complicated than ever.
Robert Pattinson joins the series as Scytale
The trailer also offers the first look at Robert Pattinson’s Skettar, a shape-shifter who becomes Paul’s latest adversary as he prepares to overthrow him and “strike at the heart of the Empire’s power.”

Speaking at an IMAX fan event, Villeneuve revealed, “I said to my crew, ‘I’m going to take a break. That’s it. Goodbye.'” I came home and I kept being woken up by these images in the middle of the night. I was supposed to do another movie. “Timothy also shared his thoughts on the emotional ending to the Dune series. “I can’t believe how quickly this experience came and went. Maybe it’s because COVID is a weird thing and it melts our sense of time, and when you think about it, it sometimes feels like a long time, making these three big movies in six or seven years, but it really wasn’t that long.”
Star-studded cast and release date
The film’s cast includes Timothée Chalamet, Zendaya, Jason Momoa, Florence Pugh, Rebecca Ferguson, Isaac De Bankole, Charlotte Rampling, Anya Taylor-Joy, Robert Pattinson and Javier Bardem.“Dune: Part 3” is scheduled to be released in international markets on December 16th, before hitting U.S. theaters on December 18th.The film’s release sparked one of the biggest box office clashes of the year, premiering in the same holiday aisle as “Avengers: Doomsday.” The trailer will also be included with the IMAX screening of “The Odyssey” later this month, giving audiences another glimpse of the epic sci-fi sequel ahead of its theatrical release.
