Vitthabai’s grandson Mohit Narayangaonkar had previously objected to the name, arguing that the film’s title should be Vittha instead of Eetha. He has since said he was satisfied with the filmmakers’ clarification on the matter.

We don’t have any problem with it now.” He also commented positively on how the film portrays Tamasha and Lavani community, adding: “The film has been made in a very positive way. We have no problem with it.”

Mohit also revealed that Shraddha and the film’s team are planning to visit Narayangon ahead of the release of “Eetha” on August 28. Clarifying whether the visit will take place after the release of the film, he said, “No, not after the release. But before the release.” He further mentioned that he has asked the producers to hold the premiere of the film in Narayangon, which is considered a pilgrimage site for Tamasha, and revealed that Laxman Utkar responded positively by assuring him that the entire team would visit the village.
