Martin Scorsese is ready to take the reigns with his next project. Scorsese, who is working alongside his daughter Francesca Scorsese as director on her latest project, appears in a five-part miniseries on a coffee brand. The series combines their love of coffee and movies with the relationship between father and daughter as they explore some of New York’s most beloved landmarks.

Filmed specifically for a popular coffee brand to capture the “magic of coffee,” Francesca Scorsese directed the five-part miniseries that captured the Scorsese family’s banter, as well as their creative vision. The miniseries, titled “Family Blend,” premiered online on July 22. Additionally, it was filmed at various locations important in the famed filmmaker’s life, including New York’s Little Italy neighborhood as well as his Brooklyn production hub.The father-daughter pair co-star in the show, which also features brief appearances from the likes of Jason Biggs and Adrien Brody, who bond over their connection and shared love of coffee.The official description of the miniseries reads: “Directed by Francesca Scorsese and starring the legendary Martin Scorsese and Francesca, Family Blending is a five-episode miniseries that pays homage to our roots, our creativity, and the small daily rituals that keep us connected. When and Where to Watch ‘Family Mix’
Fans can watch the miniseries at Youtubelaunching new episodes monthly on the brand’s official social media accounts. The first episode, “But First…Coffee,” was released online on July 22. The next episode, titled “Elizabeth Street,” will be shared online in August and will see the pair take a trip down memory lane on the New York streets where Martin Scorsese grew up. September’s episode, “Back to Tisch,” shows the pair returning to their alma mater, New York University. In Everybody Knows Your Name, released in October, Scorsese’s daughter takes her father to Little Italy, while the final episode, set for release in November, shows Martin Scorsese challenging his black coffee habit by trying new types and blends.
