Atharvaa’s latest film ‘Idhayam Murali’ has premiered in theaters with a mediocre performance at the box office. The coming-of-age romance hit theaters on Friday and has made a solid start in Tamil Nadu.
Donations reached Rs 1.9 billion on first day
According to Sacnilk, the net revenue of “Idhayam Murali” in India was estimated at Rs 190 crore on its opening day. The film was screened 1,283 times nationwide, achieving this achievement.Total fundraising in India has reached Rs 2.19 crore. Cumulative net collections in India currently stand at Rs 1.9 million.The total tax collection in Tamil Nadu is Rs 195 crore. Karnataka followed with a total collection of Rs 15 lakh, while Kerala contributed Rs 7 lakh. Andhra Pradesh and Telangana added Rs 1 lakh and other parts of India also contributed Rs 1 lakh.
“Idhayam Murali” is a coming-of-age romance film that focuses on the relationships and emotions of youth. Apart from the film starring Atharvaa, Kayadu Lohar and Preity Mukhundhan also play important roles.The cast also includes Natty Subramaniam, Ramki, Thaman S, Niharika NM, Rakshan, Dravid Selvam, Sudhakar and Pragya Nagra. Fahadh Faasil’s cameo has received a good response online.
