The latest figures show that the film’s net revenue in India reached Rs 14,950 crore, while its total revenue in India currently stands at Rs 17,463 crore. On Wednesday, the film raked in another Rs 250 crore overseas, taking its international tally to Rs 81 crore.“Jana Nayagan” currently has a total global collection of Rs 25,563 crore.
Tamil version remains the largest contributor
The Tamil version continues to dominate the box office on day seven. Of the net revenue of Rs 610 crore in India, the Tamil version contributed Rs 460 crore. The Hindi version earned Rs 1 crore while the Telugu version added Rs 50 lakh. On Wednesday, the film had 10,359 screenings across India.
Occupancy of major languages remains stable
The Tamil version recorded an overall occupancy rate of 20.75% on Day 7. The evening performances attracted the highest passenger flow, with an occupancy rate of 24.38%.The overall occupancy rate of the Hindi version reached 9.94%, with the night show receiving the best response, with an occupancy rate of 12.67%.Meanwhile, the overall occupancy rate of the Telugu version remained at 13.54%. The afternoon performance performed best, with an attendance rate of 14.60%.
Tamil Nadu leads state collection
On Wednesday, Tamil Nadu once again emerged as the film’s largest market with a total box office collection of Rs 425 crore. Karnataka followed with an increase of Rs 7.6 million and Kerala with an increase of Rs 5.5 million.The film collected Rs 50 lakh from Andhra Pradesh and Telangana, while the rest of India contributed Rs 1 crore to the day’s total collection.
