Incessant rains and adverse weather conditions have reportedly forced authorities to close educational institutions in the region.Hosanagar Tahsildar Bharat Raj issued an order on July 8 declaring a holiday for schools, anganwadi centers and PU colleges. Similar precautionary measures have been taken in Sagar taluk as weather conditions remain unfavorable.Authorities advise residents to exercise caution and avoid unnecessary travel to areas prone to waterlogging or other rainfall-related disturbances.Educational institution claims compensation for lost coursesTo minimize the academic impact of the suspension, educational institutions have been directed to hold classes during designated holidays to compensate for the lost teaching days.
