Kawasaki India has announced the new Versys-X 300, making it an affordable entry-level touring motorcycle. The company is offering cash discounts on both MY25 and MY26 models, as well as accessories worth up to Rs 46,000 for a limited time.As part of the latest scheme, the MY25 Kawasaki Versys-X 300 is available with a cash discount of Rs 35,000, bringing down its ex-showroom price to Rs 3.14 lakh. Buyers opting for the MY26 model can get a discount of Rs 10,000, bringing its ex-showroom price to Rs 3.39 lakh. In addition to the price reduction, customers can also opt for panniers or middle seats, both priced at Rs 46,000, at no additional cost. The offer will be valid until July 31.The Kawasaki Versys-X 300 is powered by a 296cc liquid-cooled twin engine mated to a six-speed gearbox. It also comes with a helper and a slipper clutch.The motorcycle has a 19-inch front wheel and a 17-inch rear wheel with spokes and tube-type tires. The suspension duties are handled by the front forks with extended suspension at the front and the Uni Trak monoshock at the rear, allowing the bike to handle both highways and uneven roads.Unlike most motorcycles in the touring segment, the Versys-X 300 keeps its lineup simple. It does not offer electronic aids such as mounting, steering or Bluetooth connectivity. Its equipment list includes two-way ABS, a digital instrument cluster, long-travel suspension, and an assist and slipper clutch.In the Indian market, the Kawasaki Versys-X 300 competes with the KTM 390 Adventure and the Royal Enfield Himalayan 450.
