Kia Syros EV previewed before launch: What to expect

The Kia Syros EV has now been spotted unannounced ahead of its expected launch later this month. The latest photos circulating on the internet show the production-ready version without any cover. Here’s a quick look at the details of what we can expect from the upcoming electric SUV.From the outside, the Syros EV looks identical to the gasoline-powered Syros. It has a similar look, lighting elements and 17-inch alloy wheels. However, the electric version features a slimmer front grille, slightly modified bumpers and an ignition port located on the left side. This cottage should also give a good impression of Syros. The spy cameras offer a two-tone interior display as well as a dual-screen display and a two-tone spoken steering wheel. Kia needs to add EV-related graphics and software to the infotainment system while keeping the overall dashboard layout unchanged. Smartly, the Syros EV is expected to feature an infotainment system with wireless Android Auto and Apple CarPlay, a sunroof, wireless phone charging, climate control and a premium audio system. Safety equipment may include six airbags, ABS with EBD, 360-degree camera, tire monitoring system and ADAS.Although Kia has not officially confirmed powertrain details, the Syros EV is expected to share its electric underpinnings with the globally sold Hyundai Inster EV. If this happens, the SUV could be offered with 42 kWh and 49 kWh battery options. In international markets, Inster EV offers vehicles with a range of up to 369 km.
