I will never be held captive again. “The sequence flashes back to the war hero’s dark past, establishing the trauma that haunts his character. As the chase intensifies, Tomei can be heard instructing Neeson on the phone: “Drive. As fast as you can,” as he drives toward the film’s titular destination. Throughout the epic manhunt, countless supporters watched through television screens, following the fugitive’s journey and cheering for his escape.
