Sai Pallavi Looking forward to wooing fans with her role as a goddess in Sita Goddess Nitesh TiwariofRamayana‘. During a special screening of the trailer at a special event held at the Bharat Mandapam on July 18, the actress spoke about her role on stage and explained how she prepared.

During the event, the acclaimed actress, who made her Bollywood debut with “Ek Din” earlier this year, discussed her role as Mata Sita in the upcoming film and shared her meditative preparation for the role. She shared: “It’s not easy for an actor to get such a role, because it’s not easy to play a goddess. There must be a team working hard to create the best version.”She added that it felt as though she was “chosen” to play the role, sharing, “I don’t think I chose to play Sitama. I’m so lucky to be able to play this role. It’s not something you can pursue, it’s not something you can write down and say, this is how I want to play. I would sit down and meditate and say, Sitama, you act through me. Everything I experienced was what you would expect from this movie. “She also commented on how she keeps herself “pure,” commenting, “I always try to keep myself as pure as possible, at least in my thoughts, to stay very neutral. So I put out the best version of myself out there.”

Famous film directors were also present at the event and were full of praise for the cast of Ramayana. While taking the stage, Nitesh Tiwari shared, “An actor’s eyes tell the truth. I saw Ram in Ranbir’s eyes and Sita in Sai’s eyes. I felt that sincerity that I had been looking for and which I found only in these beautiful souls. I didn’t see Sai and Ranbir; I saw only Sita and Ram in the film.”

While the trailer will officially be shared with the world at San Diego Comic-Con 2026 on July 24, some people attending the Bharat Mandapam event got a glimpse of it at a special screening yesterday. Most of the cast attended the event.
