The property holds deep emotional significance for the couple as it was their first home after their marriage in 1991 before Shah Rukh moved to Mumbai to pursue a full-time acting career. According to a report by Moneycontrol, the latest acquisition is worth approximately Rs 37 crore, giving Shah Rukh ownership of the entire building. Spread over an area of ​​1,200 square meters (approximately 10,800 square feet), the residence is located in one of South Delhi’s most prestigious neighborhoods. The deal is reportedly worth around Rs 37 crore, with the underlying land estimated at nearly Rs 34,260 per sq ft.Shah Rukh Khan and Gaoli Khan got married on October 25, 1991, and three ceremonies were held that day: a registered civil marriage, a traditional Hindu wedding and a nikah wedding.Over the years, Gowrie spoke fondly of the home and the memories associated with it. In an earlier interview with iDiva, she explained that she designed the house to preserve space for her family to travel together.“Our home in Delhi is almost 20 years old. As you all know, I am from Delhi and have spent most of my life here, so I thought it would be a good idea to buy and design a house near my mom’s house. The idea was to have all our memories under one roof. Over the years, we have traveled and collected so many things and memories – with the kids, Shah Rukh and me – and I wanted all of them to stay together. This is my home in Delhi,” she said.Gauri also said that every corner of the home reminded her of a different chapter of their family life, making it more than just a house.
