When asked to name Indian filmmakers he would like to work with, Matt pointed to Shekhar Kapoor. “The filmmaker everyone wanted to work with in the beginning was Shekhar Kapoor,” he said, adding that he was “really bummed” when he couldn’t be part of “The Four Feathers.” He noted that his previous commitments to the “Bourne” franchise may have been the reason he wasn’t able to take on the role. “I think I’ve signed up for a Jason Bourne movie,” he said.

Despite missing out on the project, Damon made it clear that his desire to work with Kapoor has not diminished. “I think he’s always been on my list, so I want to give it another try. It’s like I’ve been carrying a debt for 20 years. That’s it,” he added.
