Tom Holland Teases ‘Spider-Man: New Day’
The cast of the latest Spider-Man movie took to the Happy Sad Confused podcast to reveal what fans can expect from the upcoming movie. Holland called the upcoming film “one of the darkest chapters” in Peter Parker’s life and even talked about how his character chose to live in isolation. He also commented, “One of the lessons he learned from Andrew’s character in the last film is that sometimes the bravest thing you can do is ask for help, and I think he’s actively ignoring that advice. This had a profound impact on his life as a person. “His superhero, however, is completely different and “thriving.” The actor commented that fans will see the most authentic version of Spider-Man in the upcoming film. Many details have been paid attention to, including a re-created Spider-Man costume that pays homage to Tobey Maguire’s original Spider-Man costume. He also added,[Spider-Man] is booming. We may be seeing the truest version of what Spider-Man means to New York City. The shattering of these two worlds is a very interesting thing. “

The upcoming film will be set several years after the events of Spider-Man: No Way Home, with Peter Parker keeping everyone forgotten for two years through Doctor Strange’s spell. Spider-Man is back to save New York City; however, this time he doesn’t have anyone with him. Although he continued to look after his friends who were enjoying college life, things began to change for him. Holland, Zendaya, Jacob Batalon, Jon Bernthal, Michael Mando and Mark Ruffalo will reprise their roles from the Marvel Universe in the film.Sadie Sink, known for her performances in Whales and Stranger Things, will also star in the film; however, the nature of her big screen role has been kept under wraps. Yelena Belova, played by Florence Pugh, is also rumored to have a cameo in the latest Spider-Man movie. However, nothing has been confirmed yet. Trammell Tillman, Marvin Jones III, Eman Esfandi and Lisa Colon-Zayas will also join the cast as new characters.
