Taking to Instagram on Monday, Del tied his personal tribute to the film’s themes, writing that his mother was his God, his love, his courage and his strength and that he dedicated “Batwala 1947” to her and every mother in the world. The note, released a day before the film’s trailer was released on July 28, adds a personal, emotional dimension to the film’s Partition-era narrative.The ‘Ikka’ actor wrote: “Meri maa hi mera Rab hain.
