TNEA ranking list 2026: The Tamil Nadu Engineering Admissions (TNEA) rank list is expected to be released today (July 1, 2026). The ranking list, originally scheduled to be released on June 29, will now be released on July 1, 2026. It will follow the revised marks during the re-evaluation process of the Central Board of Secondary Education (CBSE). The decision is expected to ensure that candidates whose CBSE scores change after re-evaluation are not disadvantaged during preparation of the state-wide engineering merit list.According to reports, Higher Education Minister P. Viswanathan announced that the release of the TNEA 2026 ranking list has been postponed to July 1.The delay comes after CBSE announced the revaluation results on June 21. CBSE has decided to change the procedure for preparing merit list so that candidates whose marks have changed due to re-evaluation can be duly included in the final ranking list.The winner list of TNEA 2026 will be based on 200 points. In order to prepare the TNEA admission list, candidates’ qualifying examination scores should be standardized with a total score of 200 points.This list will determine the candidate’s position in the Tamil Nadu Engineering admissions counseling and seat allotment process.
