Marvell will expand its facilities in Bengaluru and Hyderabad, including opening a new office building in Bengaluru. The company said its India team will continue to work on areas such as advanced chip design, high-speed connectivity solutions, software and firmware development, and silicon engineering.For students in electronics, computer science and related engineering fields, the expansion highlights the growing need for expertise in semiconductor design, artificial intelligence hardware and next-generation computing technologies.Marvell’s India operations were established in Bangalore in 2006 and have grown into the company’s second-largest R&D center globally. The company currently has centers in Bengaluru, Pune and Hyderabad.

Navin Bishnoi, Vice President and Country Manager, Marvell India, said India has become an important engineering hub for the company.“India has become a strategic center of engineering excellence for Marvell, playing a key role in advancing infrastructure technologies that power the world’s leading hyperscale enterprises and cloud providers,” Bishnoi said.The company also plans to continue partnering with universities, startups, industry bodies and government organizations to support India’s semiconductor ecosystem.
