Delhi University (DU) has announced the second round of seat allocation for undergraduate admissions under the Common Seat Allocation System (CSAS) for the academic session 2026-27. Candidates who appeared for the second round can now check their allotment status by logging into the CSAS dashboard on the official admissions portal.The school also urges candidates who have been allocated seats in this round to complete the admission process within the specified time to avoid losing their allocated seats.
Over 24,800 new allocations announced
According to the university, a total of 24,814 new seats were allotted during the second round of admissions process.

Candidates for an allocated seat must accept the allocation by 11:59 pm on Sunday, July 26, 2026.Apart from the new allotments, the second round also saw a large number of seat upgrades. As many as 30,682 candidates were allotted upgrades, reflecting students shifting to more preferred courses or colleges based on seat availability and merit.The university further said that 15,265 applicants have chosen to freeze their allotted seats, indicating that they have chosen to retain the courses or colleges in which they were previously allocated and do not wish to participate in further upgrading.

Candidates who have been approved for admission after allotment of seats must complete the online fee payment process by Tuesday, July 28, 2026 at 11:59 pm.The university advises students to strictly adhere to the admission schedule as missing any deadline may result in cancellation of allotted seats.
