In a statement shared by the veteran actor, Roberts confirmed that he did not attend the wedding of his daughter, “Scream Queens” star Emma Roberts. In a statement to Page Six, the actor said he wishes her nothing but the best and understands she has the right to celebrate with whomever she wishes.He added, “I love my daughter, always have, always will. It’s wonderful for her to celebrate the way she wants, with whoever she wants.” The actor welcomed Emma in 1991 with his ex-partner Kelly Cunningham. However, he lost custody of her early on when she was a baby due to his battle with drug addiction. For years, father and daughter had an estranged relationship.He has repeatedly spoken about his relationship with his daughter over the years and said the outside world doesn’t understand their dynamic.
