ETimes review praised the performance
Reviewing the film, ETimes wrote: “Jayaram and Urvashi’s reunion has an easy, homely warmth, especially as Jayaram brings the entire film together without any over-the-top pacing. Aim Peruman’s styling is a perfect match for Myskin The deadpan is so close that he almost doesn’t look like he’s acting, and the jokes about his endless diet mostly land, and Yogi Babu, in smaller parts, often delivers his usual dry jokes at his own expense. No one was nervous and no one wavered. Nothing remains here, but there’s also very little grille, and that balance is reason enough to show up. “
