AICWA in a post on chief minister of telangana state Ravensh Reddy ordered a high-level inquiry into the incident. The workers’ groups have also insisted that the film producers bear the actor’s medical bills and urged strict legal action if the investigation uncovers any negligence. AICWA also called for clarification on several areas: whether there were adequate emergency medical facilities on set, whether mandatory health and workplace safety norms were followed, and what exactly happened on set that caused the actor’s condition to deteriorate so quickly. The association added that if the investigation uncovers any negligence or safety breaches, strict legal action must be taken against those responsible, stressing that any individual or production company, regardless of the size or budget of the film, must be held accountable. It also urged the manufacturer to take full responsibility for Sharma’s medical expenses and ensure he receives the best care until he fully recovers.
