Sean “Diddy” Combs, who is serving a prison sentence, is making headlines again after an altercation with a fellow inmate.According to new reports, the music star was placed in solitary confinement earlier this week after a “violent” confrontation with another inmate at the Federal Correctional Institution (FCI) in Fort Dix, New Jersey. TMZ reports that the incident began after an inmate allegedly insulted the music mogul and quickly escalated into a physical altercation.

Sources told the outlet that the two men pushed and punched each other before prison staff intervened and separated the two men. The report said Combs “held on” during the fight before being placed in solitary confinement and thrown into a “hole.”TMZ further reported that the altercation could have consequences beyond disciplinary action. Combs is currently scheduled to be released in February 2028. However, those points could be affected if prison officials determine he violated regulations.

Howard Robertson, the former warden of Rikers Island in New York City, told TMZ that prison officials will investigate and if Combs is found to have violated prison rules, it could have a negative impact on his record and potentially reduce good behavior points toward his current release date.
