Faizon Love No Pay child support money owed to his ex-partner
Faizon Love was initially detained in California, where he served 16 days before being transferred to Florida, Complex reported. The Make Money actor was arrested on June 11 after his rumored ex, Tiffany Lee, revealed $250,000 in unpaid child support in a paternity case. Referring to Love’s failure to comply with court-ordered payments, Lee reportedly recalled Love claiming she “wouldn’t get a dime.”Furthermore, she emphasized her intention to no longer work in order to avoid the aforementioned payments.
Faizon Love relies on royalty checks
As for Love, he said Lee and her attorney viewed him as the villain of the entire situation, Fox 13 reported. He noted that his income was too low to continue paying $2,500 a month in child support. Facing homelessness and poverty, the “Couples Retreat” actor reportedly relied on his annual “Elf” royalty check of about $10,000 to make ends meet. “He’s homeless. He’s living in his car,” Love’s attorney said during the hearing, according to media reports, before adding, “This is how the strong fall.”” According to TMZ, Love’s highest annual total income over the past five years was $13,000, and by 2025 his total annual income will be $0. Meanwhile, the judge set July 1, 2026 as the date for Faizon Love to disclose financial statements to determine his ability to pay child support.
